Assing has always paid great attention to environment protection and looked for energy efficient solutions, designing, producing and marketing sustainable products and services.

In this regard, we have decided to use, in the realization of our engine test rooms, technological solutions that, with greater efficiency, allow significant energy savings and emission reductions.

An example is to convert a traditional engine test room, equipped with eddy current brake and stationary management system, with an active electric drive equipped with a regenerative vector inverter.

The power produced by the IC engine under test (power generator) is re-entered into the electricity grid and made available for a new use.

ACHIEVEMENT

Thanks to this system, the single engine test room can be energetically independent, producing not only the energy it needs to work but transferring the surplus to the plant grid.

The use of an active brake system in lieu of a traditional one allows to recover the most cost in about 18 months from the implementation.
