Isolator for Biological Experiments

Isolator for biological experiments, designed taking care of user’s safety and ease of use.

An isolator can be manufactured using rigid or flexible material.

We have designed an isolator made with mixed material (plexiglass and transparent PVC) in order to ensure strength and flexibility at the same time.

It can operate both in positive pressure and negative pressure.

The first option is used when working with immunosuppressed animals, colonies “germ” or “pathogen free”, transgenic strains; the second one, in the case of experiments with pathogens or toxic substances. Moving from one operating mode to another is extremely simple.

We have achieved a double air filtration both in and out: a coarse pre-filter upstream of a HEPA filter.

The isolator is equipped with a dual input / output port for transferring materials and animals and is available in two versions:

  • 2 handling gloves (160x60x96cm).
  • 5 handling gloves (160x90x140cm).

It is also possible to request versions with custom dimensions or features.
