VIRGO measured the passage of a gravitational wave

ASSING “research partner” is proud to have contributed, in its own competence, to international scientific research.

The “VIRGO” experiment of the European Gravitational Observatory in Pisa was mentioned during the Nobel Physics 2017 assignment: the VIRGO interferometer, whose components and mirrors have been assembled in the Clean Room we have built and qualified, detected the passage of a gravitational wave produced by the fusion of two black holes. And this time it’s first!

Congratulations and wishes to all the scientists and researchers involved: ad maiora!
