Unità di alimentazione supplementare L’unità di alimentazione supplementare è necessaria per l’utilizzo degli accessori per l’ evaporazione di metalli, glow discharge e pulizia di aperture. Una connessione “smart” collega l’unità di alimentazione con l’accessorio in uso. Il cavo “smart” riconosce l’accessorio connesso ed attiva i relativi controlli sul pannello frontale. Testa di evaporazione metalli Può essere montata sul piatto superiore o adattata insieme alla testa per le carbon rods, utilizzando appositi morsetti che permettono di alloggiare filamenti di varie dimensioni. Il riscaldamento del filamento è controllato dall’alimentazione supplementare. L’evaporazione può essere interrotta automaticamente usando il timer digitale. Glow discharge (scarica a bagliore) Accessorio che permette di rimuovere gli idrocarburi dalle griglie TEM rendendo così il film di carbonio idrofilo. E’ installato sul piatto superiore, che può essere adattato rimuovendo la testa standard, e include il supporto per il rapido montaggio delle slides. La corrente può essere selezionata in maniera digitale fra 5-20mA e il tempo di processo tramite il timer digitale. Accessorio per la pulizia delle aperture Consiste in una navicella di molibdeno, agganciata ad un secondo piatto superiore, che permette di poter alloggiare facilmente le aperture che si vogliono pulire. La corrente e il tempo di processo sono controllati dall’unità di alimentazione supplementare.
